Staffordshire Bull Terrier Rescue Dog

Beth is an approx 18 month old Staffordshire Bull Terrier rescue dog. Beth is currently under the care of Staffies in Need in Surrey, South East England. Beth needs a sensible and loving home with a secure garden. Can you help lovely Beth?
Beth has displayed some food agression around other dogs, but she is fine when supervised. Staffies in Need have been working on this with her and she does not have a problem when people take her food bowl. She'll happily take treats around other dogs, and has on occasion eaten from the same food bowl without problems.
Beth's new owners must be prepared for the fact that she does display aggression towards strange dogs. She's fine with the ones she is being fostered with - but walking her when she comes across others can be difficult. They would like to place her in a home where she will be an only dog or perhaps with experienced owners who understand her issues.
Beth is very good with people and appears relatively disinterested when it comes to cats. Beth loves attention and she can be a little excitable. She does know some commands but additional training would be beneficial.
Beth has been neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. She is a friendly and lovable little girl - she just needs the right home. Staffies in Need will consider rehoming her within Surrey or within 50 miles of the Surrey borders including Sussex, Berkshire, Hampshire, Kent and Greater London.
Staffies In Need UK is a non profit organisation dedicated to the rescue, short term fostering and long-term re-homing of Staffordshire Bull Terriers (both pure-breeds and crosses). Setup by Staffordshire Bull Terrier lovers and owners to help ease the crisis the breed is currently facing. Along with the rescue and re-homing of dogs in need, they promote a true understanding of the breed, its behaviour and requirements.
