Betty is a gorgeous elderley Staff who arrived at Animal Helpline Dog Rescue in Peterborough, Cambridgeshire from the dog pound. Betty has been waiting several months for her new owners to come find her but so far has had no interest at all. Have you got room for this lovely girl?

Aside from her age putting people off, Betty also suffers from Epilepsy and is on medication to treat the condition. As a result, she has not had one person ask after her and she really needs to be in a warm loving home as soon as possible. She is an adorable lady, great with people and enjoys a scampering around.

Betty is house trained and although she gets on with other dogs when out and about on her walks and in kennels she definitely wants to be top dog in the home and rule the roost! So the rescue feel Betty would perhaps be best suited as an only pet. She is extremely affectionate and loving and enjoys being cuddled. She is happy to be touched all over, have her ears checked and be groomed. She is very playful, likes toys and comes when called or whistled, charging at you for a hug!

Please can you offer Betty the home she deserves? She desperately needs a forever home but if you can offer Betty a foster home in the meantime she will return your kindness a million times over. The rescue feel very sorry for Betty. She is not keeping too well in kennels and is not at all happy. She needs a comfortable sofa to curl up on in her sunset years, not a kennel floor!
