This lovely boy is Alfie, is a 3 year old Chocolate Labrador rescue dog who was once a stud dog and is now under the care of Many Tears Rescue in Llanelli, South Wales. This delightful boy is constantly being overlooked - can you help?
Alfie is a very waggy (almost impossible to get a good photo as he is so happy), loving, fun dog who would be a great addition to any family. Although this fellow was picked up from breeding kennels, Many Tears are sure he has been someone's pet. He knows how to give a paw, he sits on command and he is very happy. He will snatch food for treats but is getting lessons to be softer and is learning well as long as he is reminded. Alfie just is so friendly the dog rescue centre really cannot fault him.
Alfie is really enjoying life at Many Tears and things can only get better for him in a family home. He is a healthy boy who has been neutered, vaccinated and microchipped.
To adopt a dog from Many Tears Animal Rescue you will be home checked, you and all members of your family and any dogs who will be living with the dog must come to meet Alfie. Many Tears Animal Rescue (MTAR) is a small rescue based in South Wales but has dogs in foster homes throughout the UK. They take in and rehome primarily ex-breeding dogs who are no longer required, those on death row in the pounds and those whose owners are no longer able to keep them. MTAR also has a small cattery which enables us to take a small number of cats. All dogs and cats are spayed/neutered, microchipped, vaccinated and wormed.
