This handsome boy is named Hooch and he is an 14 month old Rottweiler living at Tameside Animal Rescue in Hyde, Manchester. Poor Hooch has been at the kennels for over half of his short life and like all of the rescue dogs on this site, has been waiting patiently for his new home and can't wait to meet his new family and settle in to a new routine.
Hooch would be suited to a home with adults and older children as he is a little too boisterous to be around toddlers and younger children. Understandably, Hooch will need further socialisation training with other dogs as he has been in the animal shelter for most of his short life. Tameside would prefer a confident, responsible and experienced owner for Hooch.
Tameside Animal Shelter has been helping with the plight of unwanted, neglected and abandoned animals in Manchester for 8 years. They shelter aims to alleviate suffering, encourage neutering/spaying, administer medical treatment for any needy animal and to rehome every animal with care.
They will consider rehoming Hooch anywhere in the UK including Greater Manchester, Cheshire, Derbyshire, Lancashire, Merseyside, Yorkshire, Staffordshire and North Wales.
