** More Dogs for Adoption Here **

This very handsome boy is Sonny, an approx 5 year old Rottweiler rescue dog. Sonny was found wandering as a stray with another Rottie and was picked up by the Dog Warden. Sonny has been living in RSPCA kennels in Preston, Lancashire for over a year now and can't wait to meet his new owner. Could Sonny be the dog for you?
Sonny would suit a calm household without children. When he arrived at the dog rescue centre in November 2007 he had in-growing eye lashes and was in a lot of pain. After several operations he started to feel better and is now beginning to trust people again. It has taken time for Sonny to regain confidence - it took a little longer with male members of staff but he is now showing a lovely personality! Sonny's favourite things to do are to play out on the field and also treats! Sonny will need an owner that has experience of the Rottweiler breed and is willing to invest some time in further training.
RSPCA Preston & District Branch is a separate Registered Charity. They get no funding from the Government or other sources and rely on the generosity of the local people. They take in stray dogs from the Council, unwanted animals from the public and cruelty cases from the Inspectorate. They have a non-destruction policy, unless the animal is extremely sick or dangerous. Our main goal is to take in unwanted animals and find them permanent loving homes.
For more information or to arrange to visit Sonny please call Preston RSPCA on 01772 792553 or email rspcapreston@blueyonder.co.uk. Sonny can be rehomed anywhere in the UK.
