Please click pictures below for more details about each rescue dog. The dogs listed on this page have been living in rescue centres for a long time and are in desperate need of a new home. The North East rescue gallery covers Yorkshire (York, Sheffield, Leeds, Huddersfield, Doncaster, Harrogate, Halifax), Hull, Humberside, Durham (Middlesbrough), Tyne and Wear (Newcastle) and Northumberland and Teeside.
The blue box underneath each picture indicates how far the dog rescue centre can rehome. Some rescue centres have UK wide links and can rehome nationally, while other organisations are only able to rehome locally.
