Bonnie is putting on some weight but the poor girl was literally a bag of bones when the rescue picked her up from 'Death Row' in November 2009. She had served her 7 days and was due to be put to sleep.

Bonnie is a lovely girl - she was quite nervous when she first arrived but once she trusts you and learns who is feeding her she comes around quickly. Overall she is very affectionate now she has settled and knows she is safe.

Like many Lurchers, Bonnie will chase small animals, cats and small dogs. Bonnie seems to be fine with bigger dogs and if not allowed to hone in on something she can be worked with. Bonnie is a beautiful dog, everyone who sees her comments. She is a medium sized, tan and creamy colour, amber eyed, big 'dingo' ears and a pointy nose. Bonnie is a very quirky in a every way, she would make a great pet for a person, or family who have had Lurchers before.

Bonnie appears to be housetrained and can walk with some dogs but would be best as the only pet. She can go to a home where children teenagers.
