This beautiful girl is Charlie - an 18 month old Labrador cross Pyranean rescue dog. Charlie is a big girl and extremely strong. She originally came to Greenacres Dog Rescue in Pembrokeshire South Wales as she had a tendency to chase sheep. Charlie was then homed her to a couple who returned her as she was too strong. Can you help?
Charlie has had a little training and socialisation and she is fine with dominant male dogs, but plays far too rough with most other dogs. As this can sometimes lead to fighting, she needs to be the only dog in the home. She will need a strong owner who is willing to take her back to basics with her training.
Charlie is healthy, house trained and neutered. She is walked daily using a halti and this has improved her pulling. She can not be rehomed with cats or with young children. Greenacres would consider rehoming Charlie anywhere in the UK to the right family.
Green Acres is a small non profit making rescue based in Pembrokeshre in South Wales. Green Acres will help any animal that is in need and operate a no kill policy. Every animal deserves a second chance, and Greenacres gives them just that. Greenacres have no financial backing and so they rely completely on fundraising and donations to keep going.
