Sat hello to Kane, a 4 year old male Greyhound rescue dog currently under the care of 'Greyhound Rescue North East' in Sunderland. Kane has been living at the dog rescue centre for just over a year and is waiting very patiently for his new home. Do you have room in your heart for adorable Kane?

Kane is an ex-racing dog who is now looking for a comfy sofa to relax on. Since coming into kennels, Kane has chilled out a lot. Once his breakfast and walk is over he loves to snooze on his bed. Kane does get up every now and then to see who is around and to look for treats!

Kane is looking for a home where there are older children of 8 years plus. He is a good natured, clean and gentle boy who walks well on the lead. Kane should be the only male dog in the home. However, a female dog should be OK as he does get along with other girls in the kennels. Kane does not like cats.

Kane is neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. Kane can be rehomed within North Yorkshire, Tyne and Wear, Durham, Northumberland, Cumbria and the Scottish Borders.

Greyhound Rescue North East is a very small UK voluntary organisation dedicated to the work of re-homing retired Greyhounds, Whippets and the odd Lurcher. Most dogs have been rescued by Steven Duncan and kept in his private kennels in Sunderland.

If you are interested in adopting one of Steve Duncan's Greyhounds, or if you would like anymore information about adoption, please contact 01757 638809 / 07904 976033 or info@greyhoundrescue.net. Please mention Abbie at 'Overlooked Rescue Dogs' when you call or email.
