Lovely 8 year old Greyhound Louis has found himself looking for a new family after his owner moved into a much smaller house that does not have the room for him. His owner's health problems also mean he is not getting walked as much as he should be and this is making poor Louis sad. Do you have room in your home and family for lovely Louis?
Louis was a racing dog for the first 3 years of his life, he then went to live with a lady whose marriage broke down and then on to his current owner. Louis would love to find a settled and forever home to call his own - a comfy sofa to relax on and an owner who can take him for regular walks.
Louis is healthy and neutered - he is great with people including children. Louis cannot be kept with cats and is not always good with other dogs, although he lives happily with a Lurcher at the moment. Louis is a quiet and calm dog and doesn't make much noise unless he is hungry or excited. Louis dreams a lot - often running and growling in his sleep!
Louis is being rehomed via The Stray Dog Sanctuary though he is still living with his owner at present. The Stray Dog Sanctuary will consider rehoming Louis anywhere in the UK. Please offer this lovely dog a forever and settled home to call his own.
The Stray Dogs Sanctuary in Dorset provides kennelling for stray dogs. They also take dogs from homes where they can no longer stay because of a marriage break up or the death of the dog’s owner for example. All breeds are offered sanctuary and the rescue centre covers Purbeck, East Dorset, Poole, Bournemouth, Christchurch and the New Forest. The Stray Dogs Sanctuary will always consider homes further afield and rehome over a very wide area. The charity is run solely by volunteers and receive no public money - they rely on fund raising events and donations to pay for the care of the dogs.
