Say hello to Tye, a big friendly Rottweiler rescue dog about 2 years old. Tye has been at Woodlands Farm Kennels in Bridport, Dorset for almost a year and a half. Kennel staff can't believe such a handsome boy has been overlooked for so long! Can you help?
Tye is good natured dog who is very friendly towards people he meets. However, he does tend to guard his kennel so do not be alarmed if he barks when you first visit him! Once out on the lead he is great and very affectionate.
Woodland Farm Kennels are looking for an experienced owner for Tye. Due to his size and strength he cannot live with children and is not keen on cats. He could possibly live with a similar sized bitch following a successful introduction. They would also be very grateful for a rescue place or a rescue backed foster home.
Tye is healthy and his vaccinations are up to date. He can be rehomed within Dorset and the surrounding area.
Woodlands Farm Kennels care for strays from the West Dorset area and rehome those that are not claimed. They have named the dogs themselves and usually have no history for their animals. Woodlands Farm Kennels have just started their own charity to raise funds to neuter, vaccinate and microchip their animals. They are primarily a small boarding kennels and pay for the upkeep of the dogs out of their profits. Please consider a donation.
