Gloucestershire Rescue Dogs

This gorgeous boy is called Welly and he is one of the longer stay rescue dogs at at the Cheltenham Animal Shelter in Gloucestershire. Welly is such a good natured Staffordshire Bull Terrier and he is waiting very patiently for his new home. Can you help?

Welly is a very placid and friendly 5 year old boy who would really make a wonderful pet for the right family. He is a little chubby at the moment but with a regular exercise routine his extra weight will soon disappear. As Welly was picked up as a stray he will need to be rehomed to a family where the children are at least 10 years old. He cannot live with cats and would suit an only dog home.

Welly has been neutered, microchipped and his vaccinations are up to date. He has also been wormed and flea treated and comes with 6 weeks free insurance. Traditionally the Cheltenham Animal Shelter rehome its dogs within Gloucestershire and its surrounding areas but we will always consider further afield for the right owners.

Cheltenham Animal Shelter is a charity that has been helping animals since the 1930's. They provide kennelling for stray dogs from three councils: Gloucester City, Tewkesbury Borough and Cheltenham Borough. They also take in rescue dogs from Gloucestershire Constabulary as well as rehoming animals from owners who can no longer look after them for a variety of reasons.

For more information or to arrange to visit Welly please ring 0871 2230404 or email rehoming@gawa.org.uk. Please mention Abbie at Rescue Dogs.
