** More Dogs for Adoption Here **

Poor Sidney was found in a ditch at the side of a main road. Whoever abandoned him there chucked his dog food into the ditch with him. Luckily for Sid he was rescued by the Yate Dog Warden and is now at Four Paws Animal Rescue in Caerphilly, South Wales. Sidney is now looking for loving home - can you help?
When Sidney was found it was clear he was terrified and he barked at whoever came close - eventually he was tempted out of the ditch with the aid of a cheese sandwich! Who knows why his owner did this to but at least this lovely boy is now safe in the kennels.
Sidney has a nasty wound on his leg that will be treated. He is only about 1 year old but already he is a big boy! The kennel staff think Sid is a German Shepherd cross, possibly with a larger breed such as a Mastiff but they can only guess. Sid is a bit nervous of new people but once he gets used to them he is lovely. Sid has had some training - he can sit, down, and gives both paws. He is eager to learn more.
Sidney is a bit boisterous and because of this, his size and his nerves he can not go to a home with young children though possibly a home with sensible teenagers. Sid has been neutered and vaccinated.
Four Paws Animal Rescue are a small independent charity who try to help any animal in need - those that are unwanted or in danger. They have a non-destruction policy. As far as possible, Four Paws try to foster dogs in a home environment where they can be assessed and cared for without the stresses of kennels. All animals receive veterinary care if needed, are vaccinated, wormed, flea treated and if old enough they are neutered. All prospective new owners are homechecked.
For more information or to arrange to visit Sidney please email enquiries@fourpawsanimalrescue.org.uk. Sidney can be rehomed anywhere in the UK.
